When you make a reservation with AbqTours, we collect the following personal information:

  • Type of tour, time, and date of your reservation

  • Number of guests per reservation and minor’s age range

  • Any special needs or accessibility requirements you may have

  • Your email address, phone number, and Zip Code are required to complete your reservation

  • The name of the main guest who made the reservation


How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used strictly for the following purposes:

  • To process and manage your tour reservation.

  • To communicate with you regarding your booking confirmation, receipt, and essential tour information.

  • To provide you with a liability waiver that must be completed before the tour.

  • To understand and accommodate any special needs or accessibility requirements to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests.

 

How We Share Your Information

  • We take your privacy seriously and limit the sharing of your information. Your data is shared only with the following trusted third parties for the sole purpose of providing our services:

  • Square: All credit card information is processed securely through Square. We do not store or retain any credit card details on our systems, or do we have any hard copy receipts stored.

  • PeekPro: We use Peek Pro as our booking software company to manage your reservations

  • ConversionAssist: We utilize ConversionAssist for automatic text messaging of tour information to guests

  • We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information to any other third party for marketing or other purposes.
     

Images and Marketing

By purchasing a ticket and attending an AbqTours tour, you provide complete consent for us to take pictures of you during the tour and to use these images for future marketing and promotional purposes. This helps us share the unique experience of our tours with potential future guests. If you wish to request a copy of any pictures that include you, please see the "Your Rights" section below.


Data Security

We implement a variety of technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information:

  • Encryption: We use encryption to protect sensitive data.

  • Firewalls and Secure Servers: Our systems are protected by firewalls and hosted on secure servers. 

  • VPN: We utilize Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) for secure access to our internal systems.

  • Staff Training: All our guides receive training in data privacy best practices.

  • Credit Card Data Handling: As mentioned, all credit card information is processed by Square and is not stored by AbqTours. Any temporary credit card information is immediately destroyed once processed.

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we have collected about you, including any pictures taken during a tour that may include you. To do so, please email abqtours@gmail.com.
