Our Mission:

Provide quality family-friendly entertainment that shares both the past history & the current vitality of the Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico area.

What is “Old Town” Albuquerque?

Old Town is the heart of the Duke City where Albuquerque was founded in 1706. Now, Old Town is a cultural hub for the City and is a favorite neighborhood. Many buildings and structures are listed on the Historic Properties Register. The original homes were converted into todays shops and businesses. There are over a dozen Restaurants, 4 Museums, numerous Lodging rentals, a Church, a Chapel, a School, and over 100 spaces of Stores, Specialty Shops & Galleries. There are no set hours for Old Town, each business determines their own days and hours of operation. As a general rule, most businesses are open from 11am to 7pm with many restaurants open until 9pm. The ambiance of Old Town is amazing both day and night and varies by day by day. Some days are quiet and serene while others are exciting, happy and full of people, entertainment, and celebrations. Tours operate no matter the weather or other special events that may be happening in, near or around the historic Old Town area.

What type of Tours are offered?

  • Our Tours are guided, outdoor, walking tours (or riding pedicab tours) which share the History, Legends & Lore of Old Town Albuquerque

  • Discover the area’s varied historic past, unique and hard to notice architectural details, Ghost Stories and more

  • Private Tours, Field Trips, Group Tours, and Speaker Presentations are available


Can I have a Private Tour or a Group Tour?

Private Tours are available on select dates at select times by advance reservations. Group Tours may be scheduled year-round for any time of day or night.

Should I tip my Tour Guide?

Yes! Tour Guides are Independent Contractors and graciously and gratefully accept your gratuities. #TipTheBillChallenge Think of it as Good Karma. A $4.50 to $5 per person cash gratuity, paid during booking, or to the Guide directly after the Tour, is industry standard.

How long do the Tours take?

Our Tours take from sixty-minutes to 4-hours, depending on the Tour.



Are there bathroom breaks during the Tour?

We suggest that you "Go before you Go". We are located next door to the public restrooms in historic Old Town..

What is the walking distance of the Tour?

  • Our Tours are a leisurely one-mile stroll or less, there are no hills.

  • Our Tours are not continual walking, there are several opportunities to sit along the way.

  • We walk at your pace!



Where do I park?

There is Free and paid parking available in Old Town.



What should I wear or bring?

  • Dress for the weather and for the uneven historic walkways. Tours are held regardless of the elements - rain, storm or shine.

  • Suitable clothing (including comfortable walking shoes) suggested

  • Umbrellas and ponchos suggested for rainy times

  • Lots of Water, Sunscreen and Sun hats suggested for Summer Tours

  • A warm jacket, hat, scarf, gloves, hand warmers and a hot beverage suggested for Winter Tours

  • Cameras are encouraged

  • Tour Guides GREATLY appreciate your gratuity! #TipYourGuideChallenge $4.50 to $5.00 per person is industry standard

Do we go inside any of the buildings?

Most of the Tour locations are operating businesses. We reminisce from the outside walkways. Businesses invite you to come back and look inside during their regular business hours.



Will I see a ghost?

  • While it is impossible for anyone to guarantee the appearance of a ghost, things have happened on our Tours

  • Apparitions have emerged and objects have been moved in front of the Tour group

  • Guests have reported being touched, pinched, hearing voices whisper in their ears and more

  • Please remember that our Tours are taken at your own risk


Can I take pictures?

• Still photography is allowed and encouraged.

• NO filming, video or audio recording, please



Are Tours wheelchair accessible?

  • Tours are wheelchair, electric scooter, cane, walker, crutches and stroller accessible

  • If you require any other forms of special assistance or wish to obtain information in an alternative format, please contact us in writing at least 30-days before the scheduled event



Where does the Tour Start?

  • All Tours meet in front of our Ticket Window in Plaza Don Luis

  • 303 Romero Street NW - Space N120 - Albuquerque, NM 87104

  • Check in at our Ticket Window 15-minutes before Tour start times

  • We are across the street West of the San Felipe de Neri Church, North of the Noisy Water Winery, directly next door to the public restrooms



Where do I get tickets?

  • Online at least TWO-HOURS before tour start time

What is the refund policy?

  • All ticket sales are FINAL with NO REFUNDS for ANY reason

  • Most Tickets (excluding Vouchers) are good for two-years from date of reservation; and are transferable to another Tour or to another person.

What if it is raining or storming or bad weather during my Tour?

  • Tours are held regardless of the weather and that Tours and Events will be held in all weather conditions including, sun, snow, ice, thunder & lightening, storm and/or Extraterrestrial Alien invasions.

  • DRESS FOR THE WEATHER FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE! Wear comfortable walking shoes.

  • Tickets are good for available Tours for 2-Years from date of reservation and are transferable to another available Tour or to another person.

Can I bring my Dog on the Tour with me?

  • Yes! All Tours are Pet Friendly!

  • Well behaved leashed, carried or stollered pets are welcome on all Tours.

  • Doggie clean-up bags are available on the Old Town Plaza.

Can I bring children under the age of 5 on the Tour?

  • Our tours are rated PG-13 due to historical graphic subject matter.

  • Parents may purchase tickets for their children of all ages to attend with them at their own discretion.

  • Strollers STRONGLY SUGGESTED for Children aged 5 & under.

  • We have a WELL BEHAVED CHILD Policy: If you are bringing children, they must behave and be under parental or adult (18 or older) supervision for the duration of the tour. If Children are disruptive to the tour we ask that you, please, step away from the tour until the child has calmed down. If a child continues to disrupt the group, we will charge the credit card on file double for the child. It is at the Ghost Host's discretion to determine if a Child is being disruptive!

  • A PRIVATE TOUR may be a better option for your family if you have young Children

Can we bring Alcohol on the Tour?

  • No. The Ghost Tour is not appropriate if you are intoxicated.

  • Please stay at the bar if you have been drinking and are intoxicated at tour time.

  • If you are too intoxicated to drive, you are too intoxicated to safely walk the streets of historic Old Town.

  • If you insist on taking the tour and are disruptive to the other guests, our Ghost Host will ask you and your party to leave. You will not receive a refund. If you refuse to leave other measures will be taken.

  • If you are intoxicated at tour time, please, do everyone including yourself a favor and enjoy the spirits at the local bars.
