DJ was our tour guide and she did a fantastic job. I love a good ghost walk and this one did not disappoint. It was rainy with lightning in the distance, further adding to the spookiness! I will definitely bring my family back for this tour in the future when they come to visit! Lots of history of ABQ bundled in as well, so even if ghosts aren't your thing you're still getting a great Old Town history session.

Uncensored hauntings, true crime, and the darker side of history — strictly for adults.

For everyone's safety, no alcohol or inebriation allowed.

This is the uncut, late-night version of our famous ghost walk — the stories too graphic for our family tour. Led by professional guides, you’ll explore Old Town after dark, diving deep into true crime, vice, scandal, and the paranormal that shaped Albuquerque’s shadowy past.

  • Adult storytelling (18+ only) with graphic historical details, profanity, and mature themes.

  • Recognized on Travel Channel, The Dead Files, and Coast to Coast AM.

Frequently Asked Questions About
Old Town Albuquerque Ghost Tours

Q: When should I book my tour?
A:
Tours frequently sell out, especially on weekends and during October events. We recommend booking a week ahead.

Q: Do tours run during Balloon Fiesta & Halloween?

A: Yes! In fact, this is one of our busiest times. Tour sell out early so book in advance. Don't forget private tours are available for groups of 5 to 150 - perfect for corporate events, bachelorette parties, reunions, or friends wanting an intimate experience.

Q: What if it’s raining, snowing, or there’s bad weather during my tour?

A: Our ghost tours run rain or shine — no matter the conditions. Whether it’s blazing sun, rain showers, snow, icy evenings, or even a thunderstorm, the spirits of Old Town don’t take the night off, and neither do we!

To get the best experience, dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

  • Winter nights: Temperatures can drop fast, so bundle up with warm layers, a winter jacket, scarf, hat, gloves, and warm footwear.

  • Summer heat: Expect extreme temperatures. Sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water will keep you comfortable as you explore.

With the right preparation, every tour is an unforgettable adventure — whatever the weather brings.

Q: Can we bring alcohol on the tour?
A:
No, alcoholic beverages are not allowed during the tour. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience.

If you’ve been drinking before the tour, we ask that you only join if you’re able to participate respectfully and safely — walking through historic Old Town requires focus and care.

Guests who are disruptive or visibly intoxicated may be asked to leave by the Ghost Host for the comfort and safety of others. In such cases, tickets are non-refundable.

Q: What makes Old Town Albuquerque Ghost Tours different from other tours?

A: With nearly 25 years of experience and over 3,200 verified 5-star reviews, we’ve proven our commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences. As the oldest and largest tour company in New Mexico, we set the standard for ghost tours. Our expert guides bring history and legends to life with professionalism, storytelling skill, and a dedication to exceeding guest expectations.

Q: Can I bring my dog on the tour?
A:
Yes! All of our tours are pet-friendly. Well-behaved pets — whether leashed, carried, or in a stroller — are welcome to join you. Dog waste stations and clean-up bags are available around Old Town Plaza for your convenience.

Q: Do you offer refunds if I can’t attend my tour?
A:
No. All sales are final, and we do not issue refunds for any reason. However, most ticket types can be rescheduled for a small rescheduling fee if you contact us in advance.
